Inspiration Exchange (the company) is a trading name of Bojangle Communications Ltd and is committed to protecting your privacy and respecting the personal data you entrust us with. This we do in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation and are GDPR compliant.

We collect your personal data when:

  • You submit your details on the Inspiration Exchange website
  • You provide your contact details via email, social media, telephone or post

Only the minimum personal data necessary to fulfil your contract with the company or to provide the information, product or service you have requested is collected. We are committed to keeping your personal data complete and up-to-date.

Financial information

We may hold financial information including, but not limited to, bank details provided to make payments.  Credit card payments are made through a third party provider – Stripe.

Website visitors

As a visitor to our website, you consent to us collecting information on you such as, but not limited to, your IP address, geographical location of where you accessed our website, information on how you use our website, anonymised information collected by cookies on our website, and information on the type of device and browser you use to access our website. This information is anonymised and we use this for a legitimate interest to help us provide a website in the most effective manner for you.


If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
